The system status change to "green" reflects improving conditions and the latest National Weather Service Spokane forecast, which calls for cooler temperatures and a wetter weather system bringing rain to the region Thursday night through Friday. These conditions are expected to reduce wildfire danger.
"Green" status is OCEC's status operating condition. Crews will continue to monitor weather, vegetation, and system conditions and will adjust operations as needed to protect members, employees, and the communities we serve.
